Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies in use on runcapital.partners. The site is intentionally minimal: it currently does not load analytics, advertising, social, or behavioural-tracking technologies, and the only client-side storage we set is a single language preference. 1. What Are Cookies

“Cookies” are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work efficiently. References to “cookies” in this policy also include other client-side storage technologies, such as localStorage and sessionStorage, and any pixel tags, where relevant.

2. How We Use Them

The site uses one piece of client-side storage, set by us, for a single technical purpose: remembering your language choice (English or Italian) so that you do not have to re-select it on every page. This is a strictly necessary / preference technology under the e-Privacy Directive, ICO guidance, and Provv. Garante 10 June 2021.

The site does not currently set any analytics, advertising, social, profiling, or behavioural-tracking cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Vercel Analytics, no Plausible, no Meta/LinkedIn/TikTok pixel, no Google Ads tag, no remarketing pixels, and no chat or booking widgets that would set cookies.

No cookies are set by us in the strict HTTP-cookie sense.

4. Third-Party Content Loaded by the Site

On normal page load, the site does not connect to any third-party server. Fonts (Cinzel, Cormorant Garamond, Inter, Playfair Display) are self-hosted from this domain — no request is made to fonts.googleapis.com or fonts.gstatic.com. The homepage hero video (hero.mp4) is also self-hosted; no YouTube, Vimeo, or other third-party video platform is involved. No maps (Google Maps or equivalent), no LinkedIn/X embeds, and no chat or appointment widgets are loaded.

The following parties may process limited technical data in the course of delivering the site or a service you initiate:

  • Vercel Inc. — the site is hosted on Vercel; standard HTTP-level metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) is processed by Vercel as a hosting provider. Privacy policy.
  • FormSubmit.co — processes the contact form when you click “Send”. It is loaded only on form submission, not on page load. Privacy policy.

5. Managing Cookies and Storage

You can clear the language preference at any time:

  • Via your browser: open the developer tools or site settings and delete the rcp_lang entry under Local Storage for runcapital.partners, or clear site data for the domain.
  • Via your browser settings: most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies and storage globally; consult your browser’s help documentation.

If any future change introduces non-essential cookies or trackers, a consent banner will be added and non-essential technologies will be blocked until you provide consent, as required by Provv. Garante 10 June 2021 (Italy), the e-Privacy Directive, and PECR (UK).
